How to Reach Nepal -
The only international airport in Nepal is Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International. You can enter Nepal by road through the Indian border at one of the numerous entry points at Kakkarbhitta (West Bengal), Biratnagar (Bihar), Birgunj (Bihar), Sunauli, Nepalgunj, Dhanagadi and Mahendranagar (all across the border from Uttar Pradesh).
You can take a bus, taxi and rented cars for sight seeing in Nepal. Outside Kathmandu there are only chauffeured services available. You can hire bikes at tourist hot spots and middle sized market towns.
The best time to visit Nepal and see the natural beauty at its best is between October to April, when the air is bracing and you can have the best possible view of the Himalayan peaks in the clear blue skies.
Regarding accommodation, the luxury hotels are restricted to Kathmandu, Pokhra and Chitwan in Nepal. Much of the accommodation available in Nepal is mid-rung and has a domestic flavor attached to them.
